A street level drug pusher was arrested following a raid at a pension house along San Juan Street, Barangay 13, Bacolod City, Sunday afternoon.
Police identified the suspect as 43-year-old Jade Babaran, a resident of the said city.
Based on a report by Police Station 1 (PS1) commander, Police Senior Inspector Leo Estopa, a joint operation was conducted with members of the Regional Special Operations Task Group-18 (RSOTG-18) to arrest Babaran.
Cops moved in after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu worth P300 to an undercover police officer.
A search of the pension house room and the suspect further yielded four elongated sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and a .38 caliber Revolver.
Estopa estimated the value of seized drugs at P8,000.
Aside from drug-related charges, Babaran also faces charges for illegal possession of a firearm and is presently detained at PS1./WDJ
