The Mayor Alonso Basketball Inter-Agency Tournament, intended to provide physical development and foster camaraderie among Pontevedra municipal employees, begins today at 5:30 p.m. at the municipal gym and runs until August 11.
Expected to participate are members of the local Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, municipal employees, elected officials, and the Department of Education.
Meanwhile, the 11th Mayor Alonso Ubabalo Futsal Festival begins tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. at the municipal gym.
Expected to take part are the University of St. La Salle, St. Scholastica’s Academy, Bago City, La Carlota City, Pulupandan, and Hinigaran./WDJ
