Ultron Touring recently defeated Ultron Extra, 75-71, in the 36-and-above division of the Fil-Sino Athletic Club Inter-Color Basketball Tournament at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School gym.
Touring took an early 24-18 first period lead; an advantage they held through the break, finishing the second period ahead 43-36.
Extra continued to lag in the third quarter, however, in the fourth, Police Chief Superintendent Adonis Rosales and Cris Pascua combined for 16 points and helped close the gap.
Following a three-pointer from Extra’s Roger Montalbo, Touring only held a slim 72-71 lead.
The eventual winners went on to land three out of six from the line in the closing minutes of the game, hanging on to victory.
Harry Siendo led Ultron Touring with 38 points, followed by Edward Uy with 14./WDJ
