A drunk man was arrested by police on gun possession at the public market of Barangay Poblacion, Sta. Catalina, Negros Oriental, Sunday afternoon.
Police identified the suspect as Isaiah Nuique, a resident of Barangay Obat in the said town.
Sta. Catalina Municipal police said they were conducting a foot patrol in the town’s public market, when they spotted Nuique walking near an eatery.
The cops said Nuique was drunk and arrested him after he brandished his Magnum .357 caliber revolver to the locals.
Nuique is facing the charge of illegal possession of firearms and is detained at the Sta. Catalina Municipal Police Station./WDJ
