Two people were arrested by police on Saturday following a buy-bust operation conducted by Police Station 1 (PS1) at Purok Rizal, Barangay 14, Bacolod City.
Police identified the suspects as 25-year-old Joven Japitana, and Liner Dela Cruz, 20, both residents of the said barangay.
PS1 commander, Police Senior Insp. Leo Estopa, said Japitana has a theft record in their station.
Estopa said they recovered one small and one elongated sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and the marked money they used in the operation.
Both suspects face illegal drugs charges and are presently incarcerated at PS1./WDJ
