The Lopue’s Table Tennis Association (LOPTTA) captured the 2017 Chinese Filipino Business Club Inc. Cup Table Tennis Championship Class A title over the weekend at Robinsons Place-Manila.
The team also took third place in the VIP event.
The LOPTTA Class A team, comprised of Joshua Castro, Mark Francis Jimenez, Jong Ortalla, and Marell Lagunday, took the win by defeating Dobinsons 4X4 Manila, 2-1.
Meanwhile, in the VIP event, LOPTTA lost, 3-1, in the semifinals to JRMHTTC.
Around 300 table tennis players from across the country joined the event, sponsored by the Chinese-Filipino Business Club and the Table Tennis Association for National Development (TATAND)./WDJ
