Barangay 10 spoiled Coach Nene Basketball Club (CNBC), 83-80; SBC Spartans choked Negros Youth Basketball Club, 73-61; and Singcang demolished Pahanocoy, 91-75, in the ongoing 14&Under category matches of the Mayor Bing Basketball Tournament at the BAYS Center.
In the 17&Under division, Barangay 14 shackled Villamonte, 89-73, while Barangay 41 nipped Mandalagan, 93-91.
Also scoring big in the division during the May 16 games were Bata with a 94-60 demolition over Alijis, and Brgy. 12 with a 96-88 win over Brgy. 34.
On May 17, Sum-ag stopped Pahanocoy, 92-88, while Stallions shattered CNBC, 98-86, in the 14&Under group.
Meanwhile, in the 17&Under division, Singcang proved to be too much for Villamonte-A, 101-91; Sum-ag never gave Brgy. 35 a chance to take control of the momentum with a 94-69 pull away; while Estefania bombed out Granada, 85-59, as the tournament moved closer to the next stage./WDJ
