2017 Negros Closed chess c’ships set May 27-31

Top woodpushers in the province are expected to converge at a mall in Talisay City on May 27-31, 2017 for the 2017 Negros Closed Chess Tournament.
The champion will receive P15,000 plus trophy, medal, and free registration to the Negros International Open Chess Championship on October 11-19, 2017, including a trip to a European or Asian Tournament next year (inclusion of hotel, round trip fare, per diem except for Europe visa application).
The second and third placers, on the other hand, will take home P13,000 and P10,000, respectively, along with trophies, medals, and free registration fees to the Negros International Open Chess Championship.
Other prizes include: 4th place – P8,000; 5th place – P6,000; 6th place – P5,000; 7th place – P4,000; and 8th place – P3,000, plus medals each.
