The Provincial Government through the Provincial Legal Office is now addressing the problem on security guards detailed at the Pala-pala food market, located at San Juan Street, Bacolod City.
Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Jose Maria Valencia said IloBac Security Agency submitted a different incident report so he required them to submit the incident report relative to the alleged negligence committed by a guard who was caught drunk and taunting civilians using his firearm.
Valencia said the report submitted to their office was an incident report pertaining to a stabbing incident.
Venchito Magalona, head of Security at the Provincial Capitol Building, said IloBac has already relieved a security guard who was also found to have violated the Security Code.
The security head said they are closely monitoring the security guards detailed at the Pala-pala which is now under construction, adding six more guards will be deployed to the area for a 24-hour monitoring.
Magalona identified the relieved security guard as Jay Cadrenilla, who was fired due to negligence.
He also added the provincial government is currently reviewing its contracts with the said security agency following the reported misdemeanors./WDJ
