Drug personality stabbed, shot in San Carlos City

A drug personality was reportedly found dead after he was stabbed and shot by unidentified suspects at Locsin Street, Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental yesterday morning.
Police identified the fatality as 42-year-old Hernan Favores, a resident of the said barangay.
San Carlos police said Favores formerly surrendered to them as part of police’s local anti-drug program.
Police went to the area after receiving information that a shooting incident transpired in the barangay.
When cops searched the victim’s remains, police recovered seven elongated sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and suspected drug proceeds amounting to P3,730.
A post-mortem examination also revealed Favores has a gunshot wound in the back portion of his body, and a stab wound on his neck.
San Carlos police are still investigating the incident./WDJ
