NOFA 12 & Under Invitational: Don Bosco Cebu, Jaro & Barotac rule Day-2

Visiting teams from Cebu and Iloilo displayed much talent in the second day of the 2017 Negros Occidental Football Association (NOFA) 12 and Under Invitational Cup at the Sta. Maria football field in Talisay City.
Don Bosco Cebu came out with a solid game yesterday morning in Group A by surviving the hard fighting side of I-Pagasa of Iloilo, 1-0, before beating Claret team of Manila, 6-1.
Zamboanga-Dipolog FA also had an impressive game in Group A, with a 4-1 win over Claret, and escaping San Carlos City FC, 1-0. San Carlos City side, on the other hand, blanked Bayawan City, 3-0.
Iloilo’s Barotac side had great games yesterday with a 5-1 win against Don Bosco Technical Institute of Victorias followed by a 4-1 victory over Southridge.
One La Salle of Manila also made huge performances in Day 2 with 3-0 blast over Marfa before surviving Dynamic FC, 2-1. Dynamic snatched a win over Southridge, 4-0.
In Group C, Jaro Team of Iloilo strengthened their dominance in the bracket as they outplayed Springdale Titans of Cebu, 3-2, and demolished Davao FA, 7-0.
Meanwhile, Green Global of Negros Occidental dumped Ateneo, 5-1. But the Blue Eaglets were able to redeem themselves with a 2-0 win over Karisa, which, on the other hand, defeated Davao, 4-1.
Today’s matches will determine the placement of the teams in tomorrow’s semifinals.
