According to Provincial Legal Officer Jose Maria Valencia, a security guard of the IloBac Security Agency, assigned to the Provincial Food Terminal (PFT), is currently under investigation in connection to an alleged cover-up of a shooting incident at the facility, where it is said he was drunk at the time.
Valencia has not named the individual in question.
“We are waiting for the incident report from the Economic Enterprise Development Division, which has jurisdiction over the area,” he explained.
Valencia called the matter “worse than the alleged fake training certificates,” referring to an issue back in 2015, where an employee of the said security company allegedly forged licenses and training certificates for their security guards assigned at Capitol facilities in Bacolod City.
The firm has denied involvement in the matter./WDJ
