Nietes fights for IBF flyweight belt tonight in Cebu

Murcia-native Donne ‘Ahas’ Nietes will be taking on Komgrich ‘Eaktawan’ Nantapech of Thailand for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) world flyweight belt, at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, tonight.

Murcia-native Donnie ‘Ahas’ Nietes will be taking on Komgrich ‘Eaktawan’ Nantapech of Thailand for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) world flyweight belt, at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, tonight, part of “Pinoy Pride 40: Domination.”
A win for the 34-year-old Negrense earn him a third division world title, having previously won belts in the light flyweight and minimumweight divisions.
Nietes, the current World Boxing Organization (WBO) Inter-Continental flyweight champion, is predicting he will be celebrating a knockout victory.
There will also be seven undercard fights, including WBO International featherweight champion Mark ‘Magnifico’ Magsayo taking on Issa ‘Peche Boy’ Nampepeche of Tanzania./WDJ
