2017 Panaad sa Negros Festival Victorias City, Binalbagan win folkdance competition

With their performance of “Regatones,” Victorias City was named the winner of the rural category in the Panaad sa Negros Philippine Folkdance Competition, which took place yesterday. Meanwhile, Binalbagan took the Maria Clara category with their piece “Bayluhan.”
Both Victorias City and Binalbagan swept the special awards in their category, taking home P35,000 and P45,000 respectively.
Hinigaran and Murcia took second and third place, respectively, in the rural category; while Kabankalan City finished as runner-up and San Carlos City took third place in the Maria Clara category./WDJ
