The Negros Island Region (NIR) lost their secondary boys basketball game against Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR), yesterday, 75-70, in the ongoing 2017 Palarong Pambansa in Antique.
CAR remained in the lead throughout the game, however, NIR had a couple opportunities to close the gap, even closing at 45-46 heading into the final period.
In their opening game, NIR defeated the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), 99-87./WDJ
