The owner of a ready-to-wear (RTW) store was sent to the hospital after his store went ablaze yesterday morning along Locsin Street, Bacolod City.
Rescuers refused to identify the store owner.
Based on initial probe by the Bureau of Fire Protection-Bacolod (BFP-Bacolod), the store’s security guard, Ricky Cabales, called their fire station around 2:30 a.m. requesting assistance.
Firefighters managed to immediately quell the blaze upon arrival, while the store owner was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Arson investigators added they are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze./WDJ
