A minor was reportedly nabbed by members of Police Station 2 (PS2) after he was caught in the act of selling illegal drugs at Purok Cagaycay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City, late Monday evening.
Police refused to identify the minor, but confirmed he is 15 years old and a resident of the said barangay.
PS2 commander, Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, said they are still validating if he is indeed a minor, and confirmed they recently arrested his mother in a drug buy-bust operation in the same area.
Villarias said they nabbed the minor after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P200.
A search further yielded two elongated and one big sachets of suspected shabu, valued at around P27,000, and P380 worth of suspected drug proceeds.
The minor has since been turned over to the city’s Social Development Center./WDJ
