During a press conference yesterday, Task Force Crusaders (TFC) deputy national commander John Chiong presented a jai alai tipster, a daily guide for bettors, printed by the Meridien Vista Gaming Corporation, that included a list of supposed gamblers.
Among those named were a certain Tolikoy, Edgar Mellama, Raymund Tongson, Dodong Claur, Humphrey Policarpio, and Tuklaw.
Also named was Jesus Clavecillas, also known as JC, who is a suspected bagman for jai alai operations.
Chiong noted two police officers were also linked as “protectors of illegal gambling.”
“I will refer this to the office of Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Police Director General Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa, for him to order an independent investigation,” he said.
Chiong added they received the tipster and list in their mailbox yesterday morning./WDJ
