In an effort to ensure safety on the roads during Holy Week, the Land Transportation Office-Region VI (LTO-6) is currently conducting “Oplan Semana Santa,” scheduled to run through Easter Sunday, April 16.
According to LTO-6 Director Roland Ramos, personnel will be deployed to different terminals to inspect buses and public utility jeepneys (PUJs).
“We want to make sure that road safety measures are followed,” he explained. “What we do is for everyone’s safety.”
“We also appeal to pedestrians and drivers, in general, to bear with us because all of the actions we are implementing are for everybody’s benefit,” he added./WDJ
