Local UAP holds charity volleyball tournament

The Negrense chapter of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) recently held the 1st UAP Negrense Ladies Volleyball Cup Invitational at the Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Activity Center (NOMPAC) in Bacolod City. The tournament was conducted in commemoration of the 42nd founding anniversary of the UAP.
Participants offered donations towards livelihood packages as part of their registration, with funds going towards canned goods, rice, and packets of fruit and vegetable seeds. The beneficiaries of the packages were the Aeta community of Sitio Marikudo, Barangay Camang-Camang, Isabela, Negros Occidental.
The National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP), alongside community leaders Jesus Cañete, Teresita Sinceda, and Virginia Nabat formally accepted the livelihood packages./WDJ
