AACI Trading and the Huminova Tigers opened their campaigns in the 2017 Fil-Sino All-Asian Countertrade Inter-Color Tournament at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School covered court with victories.
AACI Trading held the lead throughout their game against AACI Transport, winning 68-62.
Trading closed the first period up 22-18, later extending that lead, ahead 39-32 at the half.
Ending the third quarter ahead 59-49, despite a low-scoring final period, Trading held on to seal the victory.
Henel Jison led the winning side with 17 points, followed by Marc Lo, who scored 10 points.
In the other game, the Huminova Tigers beat Silver Dragon Transport, 73-70.
RB Chua led the victors with 22 points, followed by Alvin Dionela with 18 and Rinen Miag-ao with 16./WDJ
