Ceres-Negros FC arrived in Malaysia over the weekend, set to take on Felda United FC tomorrow at the Shah Alam Stadium for the return leg of the ongoing 2017 AFC Cup group stage.
The two last met on March 15, where they played to a scoreless draw at the Panaad Park and Stadium.
“If we play to our potential, we can win this game,” Ceres club director Ali Go told Watchmen Daily Journal. “I’m optimistic that we can win this game, we just have to play as a team.”
Go noted, midfielder Manuel Ott is suspended and midfielder Kevin Ingreso is unsure to make the roster due to injury.
“We have other players that can step up with big games and we should give them the chance to show they belong with Ceres,” the club director added.
Ceres-Negros FC currently leads Group G, tied on points with Hà Nội FC but with an advantage on goal difference./WDJ
