The Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) signed a covenant last Thursday to strengthen the local counter-terrorism campaign.
“This is in support of the campaign against terrorism by the Duterte administration,” said PRO-6 Director, Police Chief Superintendent Jose Gentiles.
He cited a need to align comprehensive program activities with the implementation of their peace-building and counter-radicalization program.
The covenant has the backing of the Philippine Army 3rd Infantry Division (3ID), along with the local Muslim community./WDJ
