In an effort to make barangay services more efficient, Barangay Felisa officially launched Electronic Transaction (E-Transaction) over the weekend.
According to former Barangay Felisa Captain Mona Dia Jardin, items, such as barangay clearances, can be accessed faster through the program’s link with the Commission on Elections (Comelec), which provides barangay officials access to the names of registered voters.
Bacolod City Councilor Em Ang said she will push forward a resolution encouraging other barangays to follow suit.
