
Regina Cassiel Delito and Evenizer Jardinico III of the College of Education will lead the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) graduating class during today’s commencement exercises.
Jardinico will deliver the valedictory address.
The ceremony begins with a baccalaureate mass, with the imposition of the hood and awarding of non-academic awards at 8:00 a.m. at the university gym.
The graduation march to the university amphitheater begins at 5:00 p.m.
Those graduating cum laude include Arvi Ablanque, Mary Jane Ballesteros, Valerie Anne Buenconsejo, Riza Mae Camacho, Emarie Carbajosa, Kevin Jon Ciano, Kara Grace Demavivas, Lourd John Diaz, Aaron Dueñas, Nice Exaltado, Gilbert Magbanua, Francis Joan Mendoza, Michelle Marie Panzo, Jessica Yvon Suyo, Isaiah Taguibao, and Jessa Torrendon.
Also, Diaz will receive the 2017 Leadership Award.
Meanwhile, 20 will be given the UNO-R Loyalty Award, including Rock Alejandro, Alan Jan Balibalos, Kathering Marisse De Juan, Delito, Peah Angelica Diamante, Christopher Bernard Dormido, East Tristan Encabo, Val Anthony Garay, Bethel Gavile, Paul Michael Genovate, Ma. Sheena May Gumban, Hannah Mae Meguiso, Diane Angelica Mendiola, Anna Maria Teody Mendoza, Fred Jay Parreño, Camille Joice Villalobos, Amanda Rose Villanueva, Ma. Mellicent Malinao, and Blaire Demonteverde./WDJ
