Acting Negros Occidental provincial administrator, Dr. Leonardo Eusebio, was recently appointed chief of hospitals. According to Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr., who confirmed the appointment yesterday, Eusebio was serving both positions concurrently on a contractual basis.
Negros Occidental Investment and Promotion Center head Lucille Gelvolea will take over the provincial administrator position.
Meanwhile, the heads of some provincial hospitals were reassigned following the retirement of hospital officials.
Chief of Hospital II, Dr. Ma. Estrella Ledesma, was reassigned as Cadiz District Hospital chief; Medical Officer IV, Dr. Allan Ramos, Jr., was reassigned as acting chief of the Governor Valeriano M. Gatuslao Memorial Hospital in Himamaylan City; Himamaylan City hospital chief, Dr. Glucerio Javellana, was reassigned as Escalante City hospital chief; and acting Escalante City hospital chief, Dr. Leonilo Del Carmen, was reassigned as Sipalay City hospital chief.
All four will report to Eusebio.
Meanwhile, Sipalay City hospital chief, Dr. Carmelo Arguelles, was reassigned as Provincial Health Office (PHO) acting medical specialist, under Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Ernell Tumimbang./WDJ
