Iloilo City Police Office chief, Senior Superintendent Remus Zacarias Canieso, will remain at his post, despite a transfer assignment to Aklan, after Iloilo City Councilor Joshua Alim sponsored a resolution requesting Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Director General Ronald dela Rosa, to retain the police chief.
“Director Canieso has performed his job satisfactorily in a short period of time,” said Alim. “He has regained the trust and confidence of the barangay leaders and the people of Iloilo City.”
“I am thankful to my colleagues in the Iloilo City Council for unanimously approving my resolution,” the city councilor added./WDJ
