The suspects in the killing of a jeepney driver in Barangay Banago, last Sunday, have been identified by investigators from Police Station 3 (PS3).
PS3 commander, Police Senior Inspector Larry Teovisio, refused to give the names of the suspects pending further confirmation, although he said they have determined old grudges were their motive.
He explained, the victim, Ephraim Payas, repeatedly quarreled with the suspects before the incident occurred.
Earlier on Sunday, Payas was trying to have his jeepney fixed at a local vulcanizing shop when a scuffle ensued between Payas and the two suspects.
One of the suspects then pulled out an unknown caliber of firearm and shot Payas several times killing him on the spot./WDJ
