A 16-year-old girl was allegedly drugged and raped by two men in Bacolod City, last Friday.
Police have withheld the identity of the said teenager, but confirmed she is a temporary resident of the said city.
In a report by Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod, a purok official, whose identity was also withheld, said they discovered the victim half-naked by the river bank and crying, late Friday afternoon.
A resident assisted the victim by covering her with a towel.
According to the purok official, the girl said she was invited for drinks with friends and was enticed to use shabu.
The victim then lost consciousness, and claims the last thing she remembers was being sexually abused by two men.
The victim has been staying in different houses around the barangay after she decided to leave her aunt, who was allegedly abusive, the official added.
Following the incident, the victim divulged the names of those involved in the crime and the alleged assailants were brought to the police station for questioning.
The victim, meanwhile, was temporarily placed under the protection of the Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD) of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO)./WDJ
