The Jr. NBA will be holding a free basketball clinic this weekend, on March 18, in Talisay City for boys and girls between the ages of eight and 16.
Under the program, participants have the opportunity to experience NBA-style basketball and learn the league’s core values of sportsmanship, teamwork, having a positive attitude, and respect.
The program also prepares participants if they plan on joining the Jr. NBA regional camp.
Notable alumni of the program include Kib Montalbo, the first Jr. NBA-Bacolod selection and current De La Salle University guard; and SamJosef Belangel, who plays for Ateneo de Manila University./WDJ
