Ceres-Negros FC continues their campaign in the 2017 AFC Cup group stage tonight, meeting Malaysian outfit Felda United FC at the Panaad Park and Stadium.
Ceres currently leads Group G with four points, following a huge 5-0 victory over Tampines Rovers FC of Singapore.
Felda United, meanwhile, currently sits in last place, following one loss and one draw.
During a press conference yesterday at the Luxur Place, Felda United head coach Satiananthan Bhaskran called Ceres a “strong” club.
“I saw their game against Tampines Rovers and they’re really strong,” he said. “We will do our best against them.”
Ceres coach Risto Vidaković said the team is focused on tonight’s match.
“For now, we are forgetting the previous game and focused on Felda,” he said. “We see them as a stronger side that we have to play our best game.”/WDJ
