Seven people were arrested following separate buy-bust operations in Bacolod City and Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, yesterday.
Police identified the subject persons of the operations as Arthur Villacampa, Cherlina Aberin, and Remelson Continiedo.
The first raid, carried out by the Bacolod City Police Office-City Drug Enforcement Unit (BCPO-CDEU), nabbed Villacampa after yielding a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer.
They also nabbed Aberin and four other suspects who were in the vicinity when the deal took place.
BCPO-CDEU recovered a total 10 sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, a .22 caliber revolver, and a .38 caliber revolver.
Meanwhile, in Hinigaran, town police arrested Continiedo after yielding a sachet of suspected shabu.
Overall, Hinigaran police recovered four sachets of suspected shabu and suspected drug proceeds amounting to P1,100.
Continiedo was also identified among the top four drug personalities in the town.
All seven suspects are facing illegal drugs charges./WDJ
