Capitol defeated the Negros Occidental Athletic Cub (NOAC), 81-67, giving them their first loss in the ongoing Toby’s Sports Bacolod Inter-Barkada Basketball Tournament at the STI-West Negros University gym.
Capitol led 21-19 at the end of the opening quarter, however, after eight points from Stepen Barniso, NOAC took a narrow 35-34 lead at the half.
Capitol then went on a huge 30-6 run, finishing the third period up 64-41.
Marte Sellado led the victors with 18 points, followed by RR dela Cruz with 10./WDJ
