A construction worker was brought to the hospital on Monday evening, after he was accidentally bumped by a car at Purok Sambag, Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City.
Police identified the victim as 44-year-old Edgar Amparado, a resident of SP Village, Barangay Pahanocoy, in the said city.
Police Station 7 (PS7) traffic investigator, Police Officer 2 (PO2) Leo Anthony Genita, said Amparado was heading north when he was accidentally bumped by a car, driven by 62-year-old Sebastian Cocjin of Barangay Cabug.
Amparado, meanwhile, admitted he was drunk when he was biking.
The victim was rushed to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) and both sides are negotiating for a settlement./WDJ
