2017 Palarong NIR Bacolod City sweeps secondary, elementary girls volleyball

The Bacolod City girls volleyball team won the secondary division of the 2017 Palarong NIR, defeating Dumaguete City, 25-11, 25-21, 25-22.
The Bacolod City girls volleyball team won the elementary division of the 2017 Palarong NIR, defeating Silay City, 25-11, 28-26.

Bacolod City dominated girls volleyball in the 2017 Palarong NIR, currently taking place in Dumaguete City, capturing both secondary and elementary division titles.
The secondary division squad defeated Dumaguete City, 25-11, 25-21, 25-22; while the elementary division team beat Silay City, 25-11, 28-26.
“It is with great pride and honor to announce that our Bacolod City emerged as champions,” said Bacolod Tay Tung High School (BTTHS) Vice Chair for Sports Jose Montalbo. “Aside from being champions, our volleyball girls exhibited the true values of an athlete as seen in their discipline and good manners.”
“The team’s preparation was not a joke,” he added. “The event was one thrilling tournament and I am very pleased with the outcome.”/WDJ
