The Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (Commission on the Filipino Language) recently donated 39 books to the Bacolod City Public Library, as part of the Aklat ng Bayan program.
Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino President Virgilio Almario, in a letter to Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia, said he hopes the donation will help city residents improve their knowledge.
Leonardia, alongside City Librarian Greta Memoria, Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, and Executive Assistant Moises de la Cruz, took part in the turnover ceremony./WDJ
