Negros’ Rizal FC rules Iloilo football tourney

Negros Occidental’s Rizal FC emerged as the champion in the Born 2015 division of the 1st Tagnan Piccio Sr. Legacy Football League, held recently in Ajuy, Iloilo province.

The young squad capped its campaign with a strong all-around showing, highlighted by several individual awards.

Rhince Navarra was named Most Valuable Player after leading Rizal FC’s title run, while Nathaniel Divinagracia earned Best Goalkeeper honors for his steady presence at the back.

Dane Mark Piansay was recognized as Best Striker, and J-ian Divinagracia took home the Best Defender award.

Also part of the championship roster were Allan Abonador, Eman Faizal, Prince Jomar dela Cruz, Jonvier Nemenio, and Jun Enrile, who all contributed to the team’s successful campaign.

Rizal FC was guided by head coach Struggle Trip “Nonoy,” with support from goalkeeper coach Soon Rai Ser “Winston.”

The team also received guidance from teacher-coaches Annie Jane Gepanago and Aliza Sun.

The program operates under the leadership of Principal Pedro G. Crispe Jr., who serves as football director, as Rizal FC continues to develop grassroots football talent through competitive youth tournaments./ASC, WDJ
