The Bacolod City Drug Enforcement Unit seized P850,000 worth of suspected illegal substance in Barangay Cabug’s Purok Mainuswagon around 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22.

Authorities arrested 40-year-old Jhon Yulo, a mechanic from Barangay Singcang-Airport’s Purok Magsungay, and 24-year-old Erica Suarez, a manicurist from Barangay Taculing.

Recovered from them were approximately 125 grams of suspected shabu sealed in two knot-tied plastic bags.

Seven transparent plastic sachets, marked money amounting to P1,000, and other items were recovered from the suspects classified as high-value drug personalities.

Police said Suarez is tagged as a street-level individual.
