Swimmers from Bacolod Tay Tung High School made their presence felt during the recently-concluded Bacolod City Division Meet.

Mark Justin Yu showcased incredible performances by taking home gold medals in the secondary boys 1,500-meter freestyle, 800-meter freestyle, 400-meter freestyle, 200-meter freestyle, 4×50-meter medley relay, and 4×50-meter free style relay.

Abbe Jenielle Ann Veloria also had an impressive showing as she captured gold medals in the elementary girls 50-meter breaststroke, 4×50-meter medley relay, and 4×50-meter freestyle relay.

She also got a silver medal in the 50-meter freestyle.

Both Yu and Veloria will still continue their quest to reach Palarong Pambansa as they compete in the Provincial Meet scheduled later this month./ASC, WDJ
