The STAI BowlerX team delivered a strong performance in the PBF Annuals and National Youth Championships held recently at the E-Lanes Bowling Center in San Juan City, Manila.

The Negros Occidental-based bowling squad secured multiple medals and cemented their status as a force to be reckoned with in the Philippine bowling scene during the four-day competition.

The pair of Alyana Abelada and Antonnette Garcia captured a silver medal in the ladies’ doubles event, while Tracey Tan and Nicole Agujo followed closely with a bronze medal finish.

On the other hand, STAI Youth Team B, composed of Jay Miguel Chua, Rephael Besana, Micco Necesario, and Ice Villarosa, secured a bronze medal in the boys’ team of four.

Tan, Garcia, Abelada, and Aguro also clinched the silver medal in the ladies’ team event.

The remarkable performances of the ladies’ team caught the attention of Philippine Sports Commission Commissioner Olivia “Bong” Coo, who awarded them a sponsorship to compete in the prestigious Philippine International Open in 2025./ASC, WDJ
