Negrense forward Jhan McHale Nermal has been relegated by the NLEX Road Warriors to their reserve list in the ongoing 2024-2025 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

In a league advisory, it said NLEX dropped the Negros Occidental’s Kabankalan City native to the unrestricted free agent with rights to salary (UFAWR2RS) list.

Taking the spot of Nermal on the Road Warriors’ active roster is newly-signed rookie big man Brandon Ramirez, who played a key role in the Pampanga Giant Lanterns’ second straight crown in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League.

Nermal was the 21st overall selection of the Road Warriors in the PBA Season 48 Rookie Draft last year, and was able to log in consistent minutes under then head coach Frankie Lim.

However, the Negrense forward was not included in the rotation of current NLEX head coach Joseph Uichico this season until he was moved down to the reserve list./ASC, WDJ
