According to Caparal, the Blue Hawks prepared well for their final game of the season against the Tangerines as they wanted to conclude their campaign on a winning note.
“Prior to this game, nag-training talaga kami ng maayos kasi last game na nga po namin and gusto naming matapos ‘yung season na maayos ‘yung performance namin,” Caparal said in a post-game interview.
“Nag-enjoy lang talaga kami in this game. Ipinakita namin kung ano ‘yung laro namin dati, and ginawa lang namin ‘yung best namin kahit na kulang na kulang kami,” she added.
On the other hand, the Tangerines remained in first place with a 14-2 win-loss slate, and armed with a twice-to-beat incentive in the semifinals round.
