Harmie Constantino captured her second Ladies Philippine Golf Tour Order of Merit (OOM) title following her championship finish in the ICTSI Negros Occidental Classic in Bacolod City last week.
Constantino started the 2024 season with victories in the Palos Verdes, Caliraya Springs and the Philippine Masters before ending the year with the Negros Occidental Classic title to secure her OOM award.
With a final season earnings total of P730,500, Constantino narrowly defeated fellow veteran golfer Sarah Ababa, who settled for a runner-up finish with P695,583 in earnings.
Chihiro Ikeda settled for third with winnings of P570,708, followed by Gretchen Villacencio (P546,375), Florence Bisera (P497,958), Mikha Fortuna (P449,750), Mafy Singson (P418,125), Marvi Monsalve (P347,208), last year’s OOM ruler Daniella Uy (P335,000), and Apple Fudolin (P326,875).
“Even with the setbacks [through the season], I kept believing I could bounce back,” Constantino said.
Meanwhile, Tony Lascuna claimed the men’s division OOM award with total earnings of P1,449,729, while Angelo Que finished runner-up with his earnings of P1,377,500 this year.
