Alas Pilipinas men will finish on the podium in the second leg of the Southeast Asia V-League.

This, after a come-from-behind 27-25, 14-25, 22-25, 25-21, 15-12 victory over Vietnam on Sunday night, August 25, at the UNY Sports Complex in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Buds Buddin led the way for the Philippines with 24 points, while Louie Ramirez added 19 points. 

This marks the second straight bronze for the Philippines, as the Alas men also took third place in the first leg of the tournament last week at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.

They bounced back from earlier losses to Thailand and Indonesia.

The team will go home with more than a bronze after Buddin earned Best Outside Hitter honors for the second leg of the tournament. (ABS-CBN News)
