The Bacolod City government offers reward money for individuals who could provide information leading to the resolution of crimes in the city.

Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) director, Colonel Joeresty Coronica announced that the reward amount will range from P20,000 to P50,000, depending on the nature of the crime and the number of informants involved.

Coronica explained that the specific reward amount will be determined based on the severity of the crime and the information provided.

As of now, no one has provided the city police with information regarding recent crimes in Bacolod.

In addition to this initiative, the BCPO plans to release the list of unsolved crimes to the public to encourage more informants to come forward and cooperate with the police.

The BCPO will also implement proactive measures to protect informants from any potential threats or risks to their safety.

The move also aims to enhance community involvement in crime-solving and improve overall public safety in Bacolod./JB, WDJ
