The Negros ICC Blue Hawks are set to parade a retooled roster for the 2024 Maharlika Pilipinas Volleyball Association (MPVA) Season, which began yesterday.
The Blue Hawks will have three homegrown players on the roster, namely Christa Lynn Collado, Ana Marie Hain and Hannah Louisse Ollina.
Also returning this season are team captain Airah Tutanes, Angeliz Cosme, Rose Mary Tagaca, Megan Gumban, Gelah Lopez, Samantha Catamora, and Jennifer Bacud.
Completing the squad are Ivy Lhyn Aquino, Marjorie Orpilla, Jem San Juan, Shekinah Barredo, Mariane Sarmiento, Irish Besmonte, Ednelle Maniquis, Andrea Caparal, Princess Maulana, Cara Tamon, and Jehiel Moraga.
Gone from last year’s squad are Negrenses Sophie Cagalawan, Angel Habacon, Gina Espina, and Reyann Cañete, along with Andrea Bernal, Venice Pagayawan, Christine Apan, and Jara Catoto.
The Blue Hawks came off a runner-up finish in the inaugural MPVA conference last year, where they lost to the Bacoor Strikers-University of Perpetual Help Lady Altas in three games./ASC, WDJ
