Two individuals died after their motorcycle crashed into a parked mini-truck at Barangay Cartagena in Negros Occidental’s Sipalay City on Tuesday night, May 21.
Sipalay police chief, Colonel Fernando Somblingo, Jr. identified the fatalities as village residents 21-year-old Adrian Paulino and his 15-year-old companion.
Somblingo said the minor was driving the motorcycle when they hit the mini-truck at 11:35 p.m.
The victims might not have noticed the truck due to rain and the area was not well-lighted.
They succumbed to severe injuries as they were not wearing safety gears, Somblingo said.
Both victims were rushed to a hospital but were declared dead on arrival./JB, WDJ
