A motorcycle driver died while three others were injured in a vehicular accident at Barangay San Miguel in Negros Occidental’s La Carlota City on Sunday afternoon, March 3.

Edilberto Pamatia-an Jr., 38 years old, died after his motorcycle accidentally crashed into another motorcycle driven by 26-year-old Keith Rezin.

La Carlota police chief, Colonel Lymel John Pasquin, said Rezin suddenly made a turn in the opposite direction, resulting in a collision with Pamatia-an’s motorcycle.

The impact caused them to fall off of their motorcycles.

Rezin and their backriders, 26-year-old Allysa Marie Jusal and a 15-year-old student, sustained injuries.

Police said the victims did not wear helmets at the time of the incident./JB, WDJ
