A total of P4,080,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated from three individuals during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Hilamonan in Negros Occidental’s Kabankalan City yesterday morning.
The suspects were identified as 38-year-old Lykey Vina, and 19-year-olds Hamid Sanggacala and Cherry Tuazon, all residents of Iligan City.
Kabankalan police chief, Lt. Colonel Roberto Indiape Jr. said they sold P111,000 worth of the prohibited substance to an undercover police officer.
The operatives also recovered five big knot-tied plastic sachets of suspected shabu, weighing 600 grams, valued at P6,800 per gram.
The suspects traveled from Bacolod City to Kabankalan.
The police had been monitoring the activities of the suspects.
They will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./JB, WDJ
