Suspect in stone-throwing incident identified

The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) has identified the suspect in the stone-throwing incident at a modernized jeepney in Barangay Mansilingan on Wednesday night, February 7.

BCPO spokesperson, Lt. Colonel Ronnie Brillo said alias “Dodoy Kulafo” will be facing malicious mischief charges for damaging the vehicle’s window and a physical injury charge for causing harm to an individual.

The BCPO is in the process of filing charges against Dodoy, based on city police chief, Colonel Noel Aliño’s directive.

They are currently coordinating with the victim and the modernized jeepney operator to complete the legal process.

Aliño instructed Police Station 7 commander, Captain Andy Ofalia to coordinate with barangay officials to install lighting in the area where the incident occurred, and to deploy barangay watchmen and force multipliers to intensify police patrols in the vicinity.
